Please consider adding a feature that allows users to request removal or suppression of breach records tied to their email addresses. Even though the data may remain in the original breach, many users would prefer to hide their email from being publicly associated with breaches — especially older or sensitive ones (e.g., dating sites, adult services, or accounts that no longer exist).
This could be done in a few ways:
Add a "hide my email from search results" option (like a privacy mode)
Allow users to flag breaches as resolved if they've deleted the original account
Offer a "request erasure" form in line with GDPR and other global privacy laws
Other breach monitoring tools are starting to offer this — HIBP should too. We understand the mission of HIBP is transparency and awareness, but giving users more control over how their email appears would be a major improvement.
