Make a section on what to do if you have been pawned.
So, Iv'e been pawned? What's next? What do I need to do? How can I fix this issue or protect myself from this happening again? You talk about being pawned but I don't see anything in simple English on the next steps besides using your password generator which I have been using for years but still got pawned.

I just helped a friend whose primary e-mail account had been taken over by a 3rd party and outlined a long list of steps & guidelines to help them recover their online life. Having an authoritative source for guidance and steps would be amazing. Recommendations for security key vendors, strict guidance on password re-use, and common-sense guidance around using (or not) SMS for 2FA would be great.

I just received the email from this provider but what I couldn’t find were instructions on what I should be aware of now that a criminal has sold my PII, what steps to take to get ahead of the criminal. I immediately changed the password in my app but I’m not sure if it was soon enough.

Really need to know what to do now? If absence of clear guidance, can you disclose which site led to my data being pawned, what other data was pawned along with the email I searched with.
