Add an Ethereum / Bitcoin SV / credit card / other for donations
Add an Ethereum address for donations and convert all existing Bitcoin donations to renBTC (there's more Bitcoin in the Ethereum network than on the lightning network) via bridge.renproject.io and exchange renBTC for Ethereum via 1inch.eth.link (1inch exchange).

I wanted to inquire anybody want to accept donations in Monero (XMR) as a form of support for haveibeenpwned site. Many in the cryptocurrency community prefer using Monero for its privacy features, and I believe it could be a beneficial option for users who wish to contribute.

Bitcoin main chain fees can be cost prohibitive for small donations, I just donated on main chain but would have preferred lightning. Main chain is around 50c most of the time, lightning is <1c and instant.
Strike is a great custodial lightning wallet and gets you an address like myname@strike.me anybody can send funds to.
If you want a non-custodial wallet (you hold the keys), I suggest zeus. It will also get you a similar address. Non-custodial means you must have inbound liquidity to receive funds which you can establish with a swap out service.

Credit card transfer and/or something like Ko-fi or Patreon would be great for me. I've just moved away from PayPal and don't really have a desire to setup a crypto wallet right now (least of all a bitcoin one). Ethereum would be fine if that was the only thing implemented here though.

I would put a donation via VISA or Google Pay, but I don't do business with PayPal, and don't use Bitcoins because of transaction cost, also climate-wise.

I refuse to use either Bitcoin (great idea and beautiful implementation, but, as it turns out, bummer consequences) or Paypal (no appetite for their business model). Do you take debit card?

Accept donation via Bitcoin SV which has very low tx fees. It takes only a few minutes with www.moneybutton.com/config or docs.relayx.io
