Domain Search Email Validation Not Working
I'm not receiving emails while attempting to validate my ownership of a domain. We're using Office 365 and the email doesn't appear to be getting caught by the spam or phishing filters.
This site is used for feature requests, not support. If you’re not receiving emails it’ll be because your mail server is blocking them.
Great, thanks! I just wasn't sure if there was an existing community where I could go ask other users, for example, on reddit or twitter. The project is awesome and greatly appreciated!
I don't have a formal support channel, it's a free community project I do my best to run in my spare time.
That said, your suggestion for an FAQ is good and I've just added that to source control and will push it out with the next release. Here's what it says:
What email address are notifications sent from?
All emails sent by HIBP come from firstname.lastname@example.org. If you're expecting an email (for example, the verification email sent when signing up for notifications) and it doesn't arrive, try white-listing that address. 99.x% of the time email doesn't arrive in someone's inbox it's due to the destination mail server bouncing it.
Gathered it was for feature requests but have not been able to find a support request location. Where should we submit support related questions? Also, it would be helpful to put in the FAQ the address emails will be coming from. At minimum the domain would be nice.
